1. Registration
To register, fill out the registration form at the given address. Upon submission, use or create a Telenect password to use for returning later. Registration is only needed once. If you are already registered, you can go straight to the events.
2. Select an Event
After clicking on an event, participants are taken to a lobby where they wait for the event to begin. While there, they can read about the speaker, the presentation, and how to maximize the experience.
3. Enter the Room
When the webinar starts, participants are automatically taken into the presentation where they can watch, listen and participate. At the conclusion, they are led back to the lobby and can reenter the room at any time to watch the replay.
A Guide to the Webinar Rooms
The best way to understand our webinar application is to see it. Here is a snapshot of a webinar in progress and a description of several unique features:
- Live video gives participants the feeling of face-to-face conversation.
- Slides/visual aides enhance or reinforce the speaker's message.
- Toggle between the windows to take a closer look at a slide or the speaker.
- Chat box shows questions submitted to speaker and allows for private chat between moderators and participants.
- Participants enter questions for the speaker, moderator or technician in this box.
- Client and/or speaker logo is featured here to give the page a customized look and feel.
- Reconnect button restores video/audio in the case of participant connection loss.
- Help button takes participants to a list of simple solutions to possible problems.
- Leave Now button allows participants to to exit during the webinar.
